Cuban Salsa Classes & Dancing in Cardiff & Cwmbran
Frequently Asked Questions...
If you have a question not listed here, please
contact us.
11) Where are the venues?
Details on where to find us can be found on our venues page. If you are still unsure about how to get there, feel free to contact us.
12) How much do the classes cost?
Our prices vary slightly according to the venue and according to whether you do one or more classes in one night. Please
see our classes page for more information, or contact us if you are unsure.
13) If I only pay for one class, can I stay for the freestyle dancing?
Yes, the fee for the class entitles you to stay until we close - you can watch the other classes
and take part in the freestyle dancing! So stay and enjoy the fun later!
14) Do you take credit/debit cards or cheques?
No, we only take cash.
15) Can I park outside the venue easily?
There is lots of free on-street parking outside Fairwater House (Thursdays, Cwmbran). However Barocco (Tuesdays)
and La Tasca (Wednesdays)
are in the centre of Cardiff,
where parking is more difficult. However, it is still possible to find parking nearby.
16) What ratio of men and women attend the classes?
We are often lucky and get a roughly 50-50 gender mix. When we get more ladies than men or vice-versa, then in
the rotating of partners someone may be without a partner for a couple of minutes before moving onto the next
available partner. However, don't worry - this won't interrupt the flow of the class for you.
17) What times are the classes and what are your opening hours?
Our times vary according to which night you come, so for details of this, please see our
Classes page.
18) What if I've missed a class?
Don't worry - the classes are designed to account for this. At the beginning of every class the dance
moves taught recently are revised. Or, if you've been away for a while, you might like to
start at a lower class level to refresh your memory.
19) Are there a bar at the venues?
Yes, there are bars at all the venues.
20) What is the 'freestyle dancing' session?
The freestyle dancing session is the club part of the night. It takes place after the classes
and is the chance to practise all that you've learnt!
