We offer Beginners Level, Improvers Level and Cuban Rueda Classes, and Dancing.

Beginners Level

We understand you might be nervous if this is your first time trying salsa! Don't worry - if you've never tried salsa before then you're perfect for the Beginners class. Just come along on the night - there is no need to book for our classes. And don't worry if you have a partner. Most people come on their own, and in any case we swap partners every few minutes so you will dance with everyone in the class.

People who have previously danced other styles of salsa are also advised to start in the Beginners class, as cuban salsa moves are a little different from those of other styles. Our gallery includes a video of our Beginners Class.

The Beginners class covers the following moves (their Spanish names are in inverted commas):

Basic step ("Paso Basico")
Side-To-Side ("Paso Lateral")
Son step ("Paso de Son")
Cuban step ("Paso Cubano")
"Dile Que No"
"Sacala"
"Enchufla"

When people are familiar with these dance moves, they are ready to join to the Improvers Level.
